The ski holiday resort of Isola 2000, France
The southern ski resort of Isola 2000 enjoys great views and numerous sunny days in a family friendly resort.
Located close enough to Nice to allow day trips, the ski resort of Isola is known to bathe in southern sun. Fortunately Isola is located close to 2000m, thus compensating for the southerly latitude. Additionally there is a large artificial snow making infrastructure to ensure that the beginner / intermediate and family-friendly ski resort is snow reliable. Efforts have been undertaken to blend the purpose-built ski resort in with the natural surroundings, a landscape that features views of the Mediterranean on a clear day, from the ski pistes. There is much to do in Isola, away from the ski pistes, but Isola lacks a notable après ski scene, being far better geared for families.
