Courchevel 1850 is reputed to have the best snow in the area and certainly of the Courchevel ski stations, this seems justified. Courchevel consists of three resort stations and as in much of life, the hierarchy runs from top to bottom. Courchevel 1850 is known to be a haunt of the wealthy and those with a big budget, Courchevel 1650 offers a distinct move away from the ritz of 1850, whislt Courchevel 1550 offers the best budget package for skiing of the three stations. Le Praz at 1300m is the lowest of the resorts, is the most charming and as with the trickle down of prices here, offers the best value of all. The ski stations of Courchevel combine to offer a good variety of ski products, but if it is the best overall resort available that you seek and you have the budget to afford it, then Courchevel 1850 is up there with the best.
