The three ski villages of Le Satez, Le Crey and Valmeinier make up the ski destination of Valloire; with a ski area of 150km of ski pistes. The north facing aspect of Valloire offers consistently reliable snow. The skiing in Valloire best suits the beginner or intermediate, with little in the way of advanced ski terrain. Beyond the 150km of ski pistes at Valloire, there is the 3 Vallees ski area that can be accessed via the nearby (but not lift-linked) ski resort of St Michel Valloire. Within the 3 Vallees ski area, any level of ski terrain can be found. The villages that make up Valloire retain a definite style and have numerous bars and restaurants. Valloire does not however offer the impressive après ski that can be found further a field in the 3 Vallees.
