With a decent resort altitude of 1550m and a top altitude of 2600m, the ski resort of Le Corbier offers pretty reliable snow and skiing that is best suited to the beginner. Three quarters of the pistes are classified beginner the other quarter intermediate, and almost nothing advanced. The message in the statistics – go if you are a novice or improving skier. A local ski pass can however include the resorts of La Toussuire andSt Sorlin d-Arves. The resort is not the most attractive in the French Alps, although it is compact, traffic-free in the centre and set in attractive natural surroundings.
